Director Tarryn Crossman travels to Israel to meet the African Hebrew Israelites in Dimona. They are a group who followed a vision of their leader Ben Ami (previously Ben Carter) from the Angel Gabriel in the 60’s, that saw the group leave America and settle in Israel via Liberia. Although, they do not practice formal Judaism, they believe they are descended from the original Israelites and keep many of the festivals and commandments of the Torah. Some have moved to SA now.
