Dr Melvin Edelstein was working in Soweto in 1976 and was an innocent bystander in the Soweto Uprising, which cost him his life. Dr Edelstein was working for the betterment of the education system in the township at the time. In celebration of Youth Day, his family tell their story, while paying tribute to him and explore the complexities of this character and what led him to his work in Soweto.
