Mina Nawe is about two high school sweethearts who meet up again after a number of years and rekindle their relationship, despite the fact that one of them is married with children. Funeka (Tango Ncetezo) is a 29-year-old single woman whose sole mission is to marry the man of her dreams. Funeka and Sakhile (Solomon Sebothoma) used to be high school sweethearts but separated to pursue their career and dreams. Eight years later they meet again, old flames are re-kindled, and they start having an affair. The problem is that Sakhile is now married to Dineo (Sibusisiwe Jili) and they have two children together. Like all flings, Funeka and Sakhile’s affair starts off as a fun secret between old flames, but quickly descends into a nightmarish comedy of errors.
