Higher grade is a show about an alcoholic high school maths teacher determined to turn his struggling students into future scientists and doctors. With the government’s threat to remove maths from the curriculum if the pass rate doesn’t improve, he faces immense pressure. Beyond the classroom, he tries to steer teenagers away from nyaope by making choral music appealing to them. The story follows his fight to save both his students’ futures and his own.
