Pesach is the Jewish holiday that celebrates the liberation and freedom of the Jewish people, we recount the story of how the Jews were lead out of slavery in Egypt. AN AFRICAN PESACH: celebrating freedom together is a film about Pesach within a uniquely and distinctly South African context. Tikkun Cape Town is part of a national organization that is the development and outreach arm of the Jewish community. Through its various community outreach programmes, it aims to make Jewish issues relevant in greater South African society, and seeks to build bridges of dialogue and sharing between different cultural communities.
