It is about the rookies in a naval base where they undergo intensive training. Diver’s Down chronicles the emotional and physical journeys of six young South Africans who are fully prepared to pay the ultimate price for their country. It is a story of a group of young men and women who, after completing their initial military basic training, voluntary sign up for what is perhaps the most grueling and dangerous course in the country. The group of diverse young men and woman must overcome their personal limitations and their conflicted inter-relationships as they learn to work together in their quest to graduate from the world-renowned South African Navy dive centre.
