earth. Reflecting South Africa’s diverse people, their struggles,
debates, concerns, fears, and their reasons to celebrate, the
show deals with topical themes, addressing the concerns of the
day, while still dealing with timeless and universal themes.
From the most luxurious penthouse in town, opulent and
comfortable, but built on the labours of others, down through
the homes and businesses of those who struggle to make their
own living, all the way down to the deepest part of the mine… this
is a microcosm of the modern South Africa, and every character
is the hero of their own story, trying to make a living and ensure a
future for themselves and their family.
