Karavaan is a 13-episode comedy/drama, inspired by other ‘coming of old age’ stories like The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and Grace and Frankie all mixed. It tells the story of Hennie September, a senior manager at Simon’s Town Harbor, whose life suddenly disintegrates when he’s unceremoniously dismissed after almost 50 years of dedicated service. Their reason – his lack of computer skills. The truth – in their eyes, HENNIE is too old and, therefore, of no worth to them. HENNIE is now left with no roof over his head – the property he called home for more than 40 years
