One Mic is a rap-battle television show that will unearth
the South African freestyle rappers who will battle against
each other. In this new exciting series, the One Mic will
also tap into different regions of South Africa to discover
the best Mcee. In each episode of One Mic showcases
upcoming and underground local rappers battling each
other through different competitive elements such as their
own “Written Material” (dropping a verse), “A Given Word”
(pass the mic) and “Freestyle Battle” (cypher).
