This programme looks at the Baal Teshuva phenomenon in South Africa (i.e those Jews who grew up in a traditional / secular environment, but have chosen to follow a more strict religious path).
We follow the paths of 3 men and 3 women in Johannesburg and Cape Town and what brought them to their return to Jewish Observance, as well as the challenges they face, what inspires them and how they mesh their Observances with living a modern life.
