In this celebration of small-town South Africa, hosted by<br \/>\nFokus presenter Lynette Francis-Puren, communities of \u2018dorpies\u2019 nominate<br \/>\ntheir favourite cooks to take part in the competition.<br \/>\nAll the nominees are tasked with making the same dish, using their own<br \/>\nrecipes and in their own homes. The locals taste all the dishes, and the<br \/>\ncommunity decides which chef did it best.<br \/>\nIt explores the cooking culture of small towns in South Africa.<br \/>\nForget about the big kitchens with the best equipment. Forget about<br \/>\ntrained chefs and professional judges.
